May looks like your average male foxmorph, but his origins are a mystery even to him. Nevertheless he found a place for himself as a pilot of a fighter starship, partnered with the vixenmorph, Ranthe. An incident in space saw them get completely lost and being forced to land for repairs on a planet that turned out to be Chakona. There he encounters and attacks a creature he'd never seen before - a chakat!
