ORCHARD BREEZE

Orchard is an earth pony filly with two mothers – Applejack and Rainbow Dash. Applejack is her birth mother, while Rainbow is Applejack's wife. Orchard's sire was Mark Wells. She calls him her uncle as is traditional for sires who are not part of the mother's herd, but she knows her true relationship with him because her parents do not hide the truth from their child, and are in fact proud to have him as the sire.

It was discovered soon after her birth that she had a unique ability inherited from Mark. While her mane and tail were normally aurora-hued, it could change to match that of any pony who came in contact with her.
