LACEWING

Lacewing is a Companion Class Canterlot Changeling, daughter of Queen Chrysalis and Prince Mark Wells.

When very young, she formed a Companion bond with Allura. As companions, the two shared everything including an interest in comics brought over from Earth by their Uncle Phil. The superhero, Iron Man, particularly interested them, and one day Lacewing tried something new. She used her shape-changing ability to form around the unicorn filly as pseudo armor. Powered by the love Allura has for her, this armor is actually stronger than the basic type issued to the Royal Guards, and because Lacewing retained her wings, the pair can fly in the identity they call Iron Mare.
