STORM KING

The Storm King and his army of storm beasts led by his general, the unicorn Tempest Shadow, was invading and conquering countries such as Abyssinia and the hippogriff kingdom before setting his sights on Equestria. His ultimate goal was to capture all the alicorn princesses and steal their power through the use of the Staff of Sacanas. His intel was out of date though, with both Celestia and Luna having gone missing for a long time. Tempest managed to capture Princess Trixie and Prince Mark Wells, neither of whom were true alicorns at the time. While Mark Wells could take on the form of the alicorn, Celestia, she did not possess alicorn-level power, and Trixie's fake wings did not bestow that power on her either. Mark managed to escape and battled the Storm King and eventually defeating him while his bodyguard, Penumbra, fought Tempest to prevent the unicorn from interfering.

The Storm King was released from his imprisonment by Grogar and fought alongside several other villains in an attempt to conquer Equestria. He was blinded by Chrysalis
