PINKAMENA DIANE “PINKIE” PIE

Pinkie is bright pink earth pony mare. She grew up on a rock farm owned by her parents, Igneous Rock Pie and Cloudy Quartz. After discovering her desire to spread joy and laughter, she moved to Ponyville. She is an energetic and sociable baker at Sugarcube Corner, where she lives on the second floor with her toothless pet alligator, Gummy. She is the town's foremost party planner.

Pinkie is the Bearer of the Element of Laughter which, in combination with the five other Elements worn by Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Applejack Apple, defeated Nightmare Moon and restored Princess Luna.

Pinkie has a mysterious ability to foretell imminent events. She can also pull objects seemingly from nowhere. She was among the first friends that Mark Wells made in Ponyville and, after he became a prince, he gave her the title of Royal Party Planner. Her workload became so great that she took on an evolved changeling named Guffaw as an apprentice. Their relationship grew into something much more, and they eventually married. Their first foal is on the way.

Pinkie has three sisters – Maud Pie, Limestone Pie, and Marble Pie, the latter being her younger twin.

Pinkie also has a counterpart in the anthro universe.
